great lesson! fun! not all that customizeable though... by Carrie L. Studebakermy 4 yr old understands it now & my 5 yr old understands it and they can both do a complete circuit with the fan or lamp without my assistance. They love this for short periods of time, frequently. I believe it is fairly dummy/kid proof but using the sound cards, you really have to stick to the schematic- my 5 yr old CAN do that unassisted IF he WANTS to- 4 yr old cannot build from schematic without my assistance. There are obviously a limited number of components so you cannot expect to make the mars rover here- it's just simple circuits and there's not a whole lot of possibilities as to your configuration and end product however the lesson is LEARNED!! Great product! I highly recommend this!! :)
